Life CONsequences is non-profit organization that focuses awareness for college and high school students around problems associated with social drinking and substance abuse issues. This community outreach initiative was developed by Ethan Fisher, using his personal story to educate students and student athletes about the real dangers of drugs and alcohol. Using his story as a prevenative message to prevent students from making life altering, life changing consequences.
Life CONsequences – is a tragic, sad and eye opening presentation about a college athlete whose struggled with drugs and alcohol addiction. Ethan's social substance use became an addiction that lead him down a path of self destruction and depression. His actions eventually sent him into the Colorado State Prison System.
Ethan describes his emotional tale from the time he started drinking and doing recreational drugs. This all leads up until the night he blacked out and hit an oncoming car. At this point a listener can hear complete silence in a large auditorium.
His inspiring presentation illustrates the choices that took him from social drinking as a freshman, to failing out of four colleges then to prison. This epic tale exemplifies the horrible decisions that lead him to eventually getting behind the wheel of a vehicle intoxicated and taking a life.
His story leads tells his tale of being a collegiate athlete to his time in prison and the struggles he has had after his incarceration.
Ethan Fisher now proudly holds two bachelor degrees and multiple academic achievement awards. Ethan is now dedicated to educating and preventing students and student athletes from making the same life mistakes he has.
